Job Title: Cleaner / Housekeeping Team Member
Location: Black Forest Cabins, Mahone Bay, Nova Scotia
Employment Type: Seasonal – March 15 to December 15
Overview:
Black Forest Cabins is looking for dependable, detail-oriented cleaners to join our team for the 2025 season. Our cabins are known for their cozy charm and spotless interiors, and our housekeeping staff play a key role in keeping that reputation alive. This is a seasonal position with regular shifts from March 15 to December 15. If you take pride in your work and love a clean space, we’d love to have you on board.
Key Responsibilities:
• Clean and reset cabins between guest stays to a high standard
• Perform seasonal deep cleans at the beginning and end of the operating season
• Restock linens, toiletries, and basic supplies as needed
• Report damages, missing items, or maintenance issues during turnovers
• Maintain cleanliness of shared areas and outdoor furniture as directed
• Follow all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines
• Track and communicate cleaning supply needs
Ideal Candidate:
• Previous cleaning or housekeeping experience is an asset
• Strong attention to detail and time management
• Ability to work independently and efficiently
• Physically able to bend, lift, and be on your feet for extended periods
• Has reliable transportation to and from Mahone Bay
• Must be legally eligible to work in Canada
Schedule:
• Shifts vary based on booking schedules
• Weekend and holiday availability may be required
• No duties required outside of the March 15 – December 15 season
Compensation: $30/hr
